David Liss, author of the story “What Maisie Knew” in the zombie anthology The New Dead, will be at the La Cantera Barnes & Noble on Feb. 16 at 7:00pm.

Library to be named for Mr. Martin

The NISD school board unanimously voted to name the O’Connor High School library after our principal, Mr. Larry Martin, who retired on November 30 after 38 years in education. Of those 38 years, 31 were spent in NISD as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, vice principal, and principal at several NISD schools in addition to O’Connor: Clark HS, Stinson MS, and Zachry MS.
